Details:

Day 1: On the first day we will pick you up at the airport in Tromso or Alta. The wonderful route is perfect for letting your eyes wander and marveling at the impressive mountains and fjords. Once you arrive at Oksfjordhjem, you will have enough time to get settled in before we serve you food prepared on open fire. 

Day 2: The next morning after breakfast, we go out with the sleddogs (with wheeled cart or sleds, depends on the snow). During the tour we take a break, when we have time to pet the huskies, give for them snacks, we also prepare something for ourselves on the fire.

Day 3: On the third day we go on a whale safari where we look for orcas from Skjervoy island, what is a world famous whale watching place. This is an external guided tour where other people will be also, not only our group. 

Day 4: On the fourth day we go on a hike with snowshoes (in the case of no snow in  normal shoes) and try to reach a spectacular viewpoint: forest, waterfall, lake, river, mountain peak, valley -  depends on the conditions and participants. During the tour we stop on a nice place to eat.

Day 5: After an extensive snowshoe hike, we'll take it a little easier the next morning and you can use the morning to relax. We meet in the early afternoon to go hunting for the Northern Lights. We drive to the best places in Norway and warm up by the fire while we hopefully marvel at the natural spectacle.

Day 6: On the sixth day we visit the world of the Sami and their reindeers in Alta. We let ourselves be captivated by their stories, centuries-old traditions of the indigenous people of Scandinavia. This is on external guided tour, there will be several more participants on the tour. At a subsequent dinner in the appropriate atmosphere, we enjoy the traditional Sami food. 

Day 7: The seventh day promises an Aurora Spirit Distillery Tour in the northernmost distillery in the world. You can also try one or two fine wines. For those groups who would prefer a road trip in the Lyngen Alps, this can be chosen as an alternative. 

Day 8: On the eighth day, after breakfast, we take you back to the airport.

Other informations:

- all of our tours are PRIVATE TOURS. That means you will be the only one group on this tour (expect of the open weeks)

- the days/programs may change, depending on the weather, but we always decide together with you.

- we are flexible in everything. We find the best solution for everything, and we will do our best to make sure you have a week full of unforgettable experiences here.

- everyone participates in the tours at their own risk.

Prices for exclusive groups:

The exclusive tour means that the tour is only for 1 group, who come together and don't want to share the tour with foreign people.

in the case of 2 people: 28500 NOK per person

in the case of 3 people: 27075 NOK per person

in the case of 4 people: 25650 NOK per person

in the case of 5 people: NOK 24225 per person

Prices for open tours:

The open tour means that the tour is for example for single travellers, who wants to come for the tour, but didn't find another person, who would come with him. Or you are either two or more people, but you would like to make friends with other people you don't know. The tour is open to 5 participants, so 5 people can book the tour from different places. The tour starts with a minimum of 2 participants.

NOK 24000 per person

When and how to pay:

Payment is made by bank transfer. Ipon booking, you will receive an invoice by e-mail, which must be transferred to the specified bank account within a specified time. The tour is booked when 30 percent is paid.

- transfer from/to Tromso airport

- all the trips during the program

- all the tickets (all externally booked tours and guided tours)

- 7 nights at Oksfjordhjem accommodation- all the equipment

- the full catering

- professional photos of the week

- winter clothing (warm outwear, winter boots, headlamp, gloves, hat, ski googles)

Meals are included during your stay, you will prepare them yourself in the morning and evening so as not to disturb your privacy in the accommodation. We take care of the food during the tours.
