General terms and conditions of business
Any reservation requires the full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions by the customer.
1. Conclusion of contract and payment
Week-long dogsledding tours and adventure family weeks: Booking requests can be made using the online registration form or by email. The registration will then be confirmed and an advance payment of 30 percent of the tour price will be due within 14 days. Account information and booking confirmation will be sent digitally.
The remaining amount is due 30 days before the start of the tour. An exception to this is short-term registrations made less than 30 days before the start of the trip. In this case, the total amount must be transferred immediately.
Accomodation:
Short one-day long tours:
Rentable equipment:
2. Program
The respective program of the booked trip can be found in the program description in conjunction with the booking confirmation.
3. Participation requirements
In order to guarantee the safety of guests, participants on a dog sledding tour must meet minimum requirements in terms of age and physical fitness. Participants on multi-day dog sledding tours should be at least 14 years old. Exceptions are stated in the tour description. The endurance level corresponds to that of a multi-day bicycle tour with luggage.
If it becomes apparent during the tour that a guest is not up to the challenge, the tour can be changed or, if necessary, canceled for safety reasons - as far as possible. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the (proportionate) travel price or to the implementation of alternative programs.
On the family week tours, parents are fully responsible for their children up to the age of 18. For the health and safety of children, for the damage caused by children. We are not responsible for any injuries, allergic or other attacks, or deaths.
The same applies to all other tours we lead (snow shoe tour, bicycle tour, hiking tour, sledding, wheeled cart tour...). Parents are responsible for their children up to the age of 18. Those over 18 for themselves. We are not responsible for any injury, damage or death.
Before the tour, you will receive a form in which you accept with your signature that you are going on our tours at your own risk.
All activities are undertaken at your own risk.
4. Cancellations, changes, rebookings
Cancellations, changes and rebookings must be communicated to Into the wild Huskytours Sommer in writing or in text form.
For cancellations or failure to pay the remaining balance, the following flat-rate cancellation fees will be charged:
- from booking 30 percent of the tour price
- from 120 days before the start of the tour 40% of the tour price
- from 90 days before the start of the tour 60% of the tour price
- from 60 days before the start of the tour 100% of the tour price
We strongly recommend that all customers take out travel/accident insurance and trip cancellation insurance from a reputable provider in their home country before traveling to Norway. It is important that all travellers protect themselves against unforeseen problems or additional costs.
Short one-day tours do not need to be booked and paid for in advance. In this case, payment by bank card is made on site before the start of the tour.
Since we are a small family business, it may happen that urgent things come up. In this case we will notify you. Thank you for your understanding.
